At Delune, ensuring the safety and health of your little ones is paramount. Our kid-safe collection of essential oils is meticulously selected from our main line, ensuring each oil is safe for children aged 0-6 years.

Our selection process for the kid-safe line is grounded in scientific research regarding the safety profiles of essential oils. Oils such as Peppermint and Rosemary, high in menthol or 1,8-cineole, are excluded due to their potential to cause respiratory issues in young children. Additionally, oils like Ylang Ylang, a known skin allergen, are not included to prevent any allergic reactions.

For safe usage, we recommend the following guidelines:

• Always dilute essential oils before use. A standard dilution for children aged 0-6 years is 0.5% or less, which translates to about 1 drop of essential oil per two teaspoons of carrier oil.
• Apply oils to areas that children cannot easily touch, such as the back or feet, and ensure they are out of reach of children when not in use.
• Consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new essential oil regimen with children, especially if the child has pre-existing health conditions or skin sensitivities.
