Zoom your way to plumper, brighter skin with the Delune Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C Serum Duo.

Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C are both important ingredients that can deliver powerful support in our formulas. The former ingredient is often found in formulas that aim to hydrate skin, while the latter addresses skin radiance and even tone.

This pack includes our 3% Hyaluronic Aloe Face Serum 30ml and Super 10% Vitamin C Anti-Pollution Brightening Oil 30ml.

Layer these two serums together morning or night for smoother, brighter, more hydrated skin. 3% Hyaluronic Aloe Face Serum replenishes skin's moisture for plump, supple, and youthful-looking skin. In the morning, apply 2–3 drops to clean and damp skin to hydrate and replump lines from within.

Super 10% Vitamin C Anti-Pollution Brightening Oil is formulated with 10% of the purest form of Vitamin C, plus Vitamin E. This Vitamin C face oil is suitable for sensitive skin and clinically proven to prevent signs of ageing, reduce pores, and even skin tone.

How to Use

Layer these two serums together morning or night for smoother, brighter, more hydrated skin.

First, cleanse skin using your favourite face cleanser to remove any impurities and prep the skin for the Vitamin C oil.

STEP 1: VITAMIN C FACE OIL
Apply 2 to 3 drops of Super 10% Vitamin C Brightening Oil evenly all over face and neck, especially on areas with fine lines or dark spots.

STEP 2: HYALURONIC ACID FACE SERUM
Once absorbed, follow by layering 2–3 drops of 3% Hyaluronic Aloe Face Serum.

Pro-tip: Mist your face with a natural toner before applying the serum. The extra hydration will really help.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a powerful ingredient that can visibly improve deep lines, wrinkles, uneven skin texture, and dullness. It’s key to the production of collagen and elastin in the skin and is known to have an anti-aging effect.

Vitamin C can also help reduce the appearance of skin-aging damage caused by UV radiation and free radicals.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid is a potent anti-aging ingredient. Its benefits include replenishing skin to boost hydration, improving texture and decreasing the appearance of wrinkles to reveal a firmer, plumper complexion.

Now that we know Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid make a winning serum combination, let's explore other serum pairings. Which ones are a match made in heaven, and which should be kept apart?

Other serum combinations that compliment each other

• Hyaluronic Acid and Retinol: Both are excellent on their own—Hyaluronic Acid for hydration and Retinol for anti-aging. When combined, they work wonders, with Hyaluronic Acid offsetting any dryness from Retinol.

• Niacinamide and Vitamin C: This dynamic duo works together to achieve a brighter, smoother complexion.

Serum combinations to avoid

Not all skincare ingredients work well together, so be cautious when pairing serums with these combinations:

• Vitamin C and Retinol: These two can be overwhelming for the skin if used simultaneously, so it's best to apply them at different times of the day.

• Retinol and AHAs: While Retinol is excellent for enhancing skin cell turnover, it can increase sensitivity when combined with AHAs, and vice versa. To avoid irritation, use them separately in your skincare routine.

Now that you know which serum pairs to use and which to avoid, you might be wondering how to layer serums to tailor your skincare routine.

How many serums can you layer?

Layering face serums can enhance the effectiveness of your skincare products, but it's important not to overdo it. While there's no strict limit to how many serums you can use in your routine, using too many can lead to diminishing returns. We suggest layering up to three serums that work well together.

If you’re looking for just one skin-supporting serum, our 3% Hyaluronic Aloe Face Serum is a fantastic choice.

What’s the ideal serum layering order?

The order in which you layer serums depends on the key ingredients in each product. A good rule of thumb is to start with the serums that have the thinnest consistency and gradually move to thicker formulas. Apply serums with more potent ingredients (such as Vitamin C or Retinol) at different times of the day, and pair them with gentler serums to soothe and support your skin.

When should you apply serums?

Understanding how to layer serums is crucial, but knowing the best time to use them is just as important. While some serums can be applied at any time, others deliver optimal benefits when used in the morning or evening. Here are our recommendations for when to apply each product:

• Hyaluronic acid works well with most skincare ingredients, making it ideal for all-day hydration.

• Vitamin C is great for morning use, as it helps protect against free radicals from external factors like sun exposure and pollution.

• Retinol is effective at promoting skin cell turnover but increases sensitivity to sunlight, so it's best applied in the evening.

• Niacinamide is a gentle yet powerful ingredient that reduces the appearance of dark spots. It pairs well with most other ingredients and can be used either in the morning or at night.
